One of my favorite things about being a Fresno Family photographer is taking Fresno blossom photos on the blossom trails. They are so fun to capture and some of my favorite photos always come from these sessions. There’s just something about those fluffy white flowers that I can’t help but be mesmerized and enchanted by. They come at the perfect time of the year too.

When do blossom sessions happen?

Right after the bleak month of January when winter doesn’t seem to end. Right then, right when I‘m about to give up on house and home, those blossoms come and capture my heart! You should come and see it for yourself! And even better, you’ll have a way to remember it. Fresno blossom photos are the best way to remember the magic of those blossoms and the magic of your family. You know that I’m a sucker for capturing the magic. And I always find magic on the blossom trails. Magic of growing families, new babies, graduating seniors. You can find it right up there with those blooming trees.

Besides the fact that the blossoms are unbelievably pretty, fluffy, white, and magical, one of the best things about the blossoms is that they create this incredible light to work with. There is just so much white in the blossom trails that the light reflects and bounces all around. It’s my favorite because it’s hard to get light like that. I love to layer the blossom branches around you, adding to the brightness of the photos and getting a close-up shot of those fluffy white flowers.

You can’t help but feel whimsical on the blossom trails. There’s this shot that I love so much I do it in every session there. It’s a centered shot right down the row of the blooming trees. You are just surrounded by these trees that seem to go on forever and ever. It captures the surrounding beauty but at the same time captures the sweet dynamic of your family. People come alive in those blossoms. Smiles are bigger. Eyes are brighter. Spirits are lifted. I’m telling you, it’s magic!
