My summer-themed Mother’s Day gift guide is here!

I wish someone would have shared this with me sooner. Don’t worry, I’ll let you in on my little Mother’s Day secret. It was an absolute game-changer for me. It helped me find joy on Mother’s Day versus succumbing to the negative thoughts and feelings that sometimes circle around this one particular day of the year.

That’s it! It’s really that simple. I take all the guesswork out of it and I tell my family exactly what I would like for Mother’s Day. I share how I would like us to spend the day, what little gift I would love to get, and even what kind of time alone I would like on the day as well. By sharing my hopes and expectations there is no room for disappointment. It’s really a win-win for everyone.

If you know me you know I had to include a Polaroid Camera on the list. It really is one of my favorite things and I love using it for sessions and for taking quick photos of my family. My kids also love to use it which is also fun.

Last but certainly not least, a new journal is always a welcomed gift for me. Whether I’m going to do my weekly gratitude in it or it’s going to house random thoughts, to-do items, or grocery lists, I always find a way to fill it. Is anyone else like that?
