Why You Should Book Your Fall Family Session in August

Can you believe that there are only 134 days until Christmas!? My head is already spinning at the fact that fall is right around the corner and then Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are going to be here and gone before you know it. Christmas cards and family photos are probably buried pretty far down on your current to-do list. I get it, my to-do list is full of things that are constantly pressing for my immediate attention. Anyone trying to figure out homeschooling? Or working full time from home with kids full time at home? I’m not trying to add to your stress, I’m trying to alleviate future stress. So here’s your gentle reminder to move fall photos up your list! Take a couple of seconds today to book your session and I promise that scheduling it now will make for a very pleasant session down the road. Because unfortunately, the longer you wait means less flexibility about when and where you can get them done. Now that’s stressful.

So….book now! Tell your friends, tell your family! Book your session now! Did three sentences ending in exclamation points drive home my point? If you book now, there are more days open for you to choose from during the fall. You can nail down a Friday or Saturday slot. Please please please don’t wait until November to schedule your photos. By that point, the weekend slots will be full and you’ll have to settle for a weekday. Maybe that works best for you, in that cause that’s wonderful! I’m glad those slots are open. But most of the time that means hurrying home from work or leaving work early and squishing your session in between school and bedtime.

If your fall session is booked today then you’re at an advantage. You have your first pick of dates and times and you’re already brainstorming clothes and locations. Give yourself time to figure everything out so that it isn’t a last-minute scramble to throw it all together. Don’t get me wrong, I too believe in the power of procrastination sometimes but not when it comes to photo sessions. Sooner is always better. Trust me. And if you’re worried about forgetting when your session is scheduled, don’t be! I’ll contact you multiple times before our session to make sure we are on the same page and that everything is going according to plan.

Click on Contact to start the process and book your session. I can’t wait to see you guys in the Fall!
