Can you believe the end of the year is almost here? Time is flying by and soon we’ll be looking toward new goals and a new year. But before we turn on the Netflix countdown (if you know, you know) and toast to 2020, I want to talk about what a wonderful year 2019 has been and take a second to thank my clients for letting me capture a moment of stillness and often times silliness in their busy lives. I loved seeing the smiles, humor, personalities, and love in your families. I captured sweet maternity photos with new moms and dads and some veteran parents too who welcomed a new member into their families this year. I captured fresh 48s with brand new babies, documenting little toes, little fingers, tiny lips, and all those little features that are so dear and perfect. They won’t last forever because those little ones grow up faster than you can imagine. I captured magic with you. 

I captured your creativity and fun with cake smashes. There is nothing more fun than a good cake smash. We celebrated being one-year-old! One year! That’s something you should give yourself a pat on the back for and celebrate! I captured your families with little ones who held onto special toys and held onto you during our sessions, finding safety and love in both. I loved capturing your family with your growing teens. You are surviving teenagers! Dang right, you deserve a beautiful family photo! I loved capturing the big group hugs, the shoulder rides, the jokes being shared, the sweet smiles exchanged between siblings and the love in your eyes as you and your spouse held hands and sneaked kisses. 

You guys have been some of the best parts of my 2019. I love being able to step into your families just for a second to capture the magic and uniqueness that makes you guys you. Because there is something magical in each family, in each session and in each photo. I can’t wait to capture more magic next year. Because I believe in taking the time for family photos.
