I love photographing newborns. They are so absolutely perfect, impossibly tiny, and there is just so much LOVE in the room when there’s a new baby.
I do in home newborn photography. That means I make it as easy as possible by coming to you! It can feel overwhelming to leave your home when you have a new baby. You need to pack the pacifiers, burp cloths, blankets, change of clothes, diapers and wipes, diaper cream, bottles, nipple cream, allllll the things! But by coming to you, you can stay in your own safe space and have anything you might need at your finger tips.
I focus on the love, connection and joy in having a new baby. Babies bring people together. My goal is to capture those connections and show you what falling in love with your new baby looks like. I do “baby led posing” meaning I let the baby dictate how they want to be positioned. I don’t do anything that might be dangerous or uncomfortable for baby. We make sure they’re warm, snuggled, loved and free to be them.
Check in next week when I talk about how to prep your space for a newborn photo session!
What an amazing service you offer clients! I bet you are every new parents dream ! Love the connection and love you capture!
Aw thank you Kandi! I try to be as helpful as possible for new parents! Such an intense time!
this is a great way to shoot newborns! i’m not even a mom and this sounds super convenient, and i love seeing the result. clients tend to be much more natural in their own spaces, and it gives a chance to exercise your creativity going into a new environment to shoot!
Thank you! And yes! Clients seem more comfortable in their own space and I love finding new ways to capture their connection in new to me environments!
As a first time mom, I can say "yes!" to that whole stressful list you mentioned in getting babies prepared to travel! And you STILL always forget something lol but by going to the family’s home, you are making things so much easier for everyone! What a blessing you are! Beautiful photos! Love how you are capturing all of those fresh moments in a baby’s first home 🙂
Right??? It’s so hard at the beginning to remember everything and to know what you need when you go out! And they’re so tiny! I always hated going out at the beginning.
I love how this captures those first few days at home with your new baby. This is such a great service for your clients!
Thank you! I try to make it as easy as possible for parents!
