Megan and I met in elementary school when I went to hang out with my friend Ashley who lived across the street from her. Ashley and I made up a routine to a Spice Girls song and decided we needed to perform it for Megan. She was a good sport and cheered us on. Later we went to middle school and high school together. Then there was a summer she was over at my friend Kim’s house every single day (and I was over there the majority of the summer too), watching Passions and tanning (or if you’re me, burning). Being a teenager is seriously the best, why did I not enjoy the lack of responsibility more??? Megan recently moved back home while her husband was working hard across the country so she’d have some help with her adorable toddler, West, while pregnant. We waited until Guy came back and he got here just in time to document their family before baby sister joined!

I hadn’t seen Megan in years, but she is just the same as ever. Happy, incredibly easy going and laughs easily. And as always, absolutely beautiful! She’s also a talented model and actress and posted some pretty funny videos she created about pregnancy on youtube! You can check them out here. People can say the strangest things to you when you’re pregnant that they’d never say normally. Once when I was pregnant with my first, I hadn’t announced it yet and a male acquaintance came up and said “oh so you’re pregnant right?” And I looked him square in the face and said no because you don’t say that to anyone unless they’re about to pop! He was a little embarrassed to say the least!

The light when we took these photos was just magical! And it was so much fun working with Megan and watching her in her element with modeling and knowing how to move her body and adjust just a little bit to get new looks for every frame. Those last few weeks of pregnancy can be rough, but Megan made them look absolutely beautiful!
