Mom Photo Outfit Inspo
Now, I know not every woman likes to wear a dress, but I also know that after photographing lots of women and families, dresses are consistently the most flattering on all female body types. No matter your size or shape, there is a dress style out there that will look great on you! Dresses also bring a feeling of softness and movement to images as they move in the wind and with you. Of course women look great in pants and a blouse or sweater as well, but I always prefer a dress with its feminine look, movement, and ability to hide just about any and all problem areas depending on the style you get!
Here’s a link to my Mom wardrobe pinterest board and below you’ll find a few of my favorites for this season!
1. Yellow Free People Dress || 2. Burgundy Bib Dress || 3. Blue Smocked Dress || 4. Ruffle Maxi dress
Dad Photo Outfit Inspo
Dad’s are pretty easy! Get them a button up shirt, henley thermal, or sweater and you’re good to go! If it’s cool enough in Fresno when you’re getting photographed, I always think a ¾ zip sweater looks nice and polished on guys, but leaves it a little casual with either a t-shirt or a button up shirt peeking through the top. I don’t usually recommend a polo shirt as they tend to look a little more dated in pictures right now.
Below you’ll find a few of my faves for this season and here is a link to my dad wardrobe pinterest board!
1. Linen cotton shirt || 2. Henley Shirt || 3. Quarter Zip sweater || 4. Mock collar sweater
Girl photo outfit inspo
Just like mom’s I think wearing a dress always looks sweet on a girl, no matter what her age! I also think jumpsuits look very cute and might be more appealing to those anti-dress type girls.
Check out my girl wardrobe pinterest board and some of my faves down below!
1. Girls chambray jumpsuit || 2. Frill sleeve dress || 3. Knit Skirt || 4. Corduroy skirtall
Boy photo outfit inspo
Boys are similar to dad as well! Sweater, collared shirt or henley are my top picks for boys. Pair that with a pair of trousers and you’re golden! To switch it up a little, there are now jogger style pants made in twill and cotton which might be a good compromise for a more particular boy while still looking nice. Adding suspenders or a cardigan is always a good way to create variety.

1. Chambray button up || 2. Shirt and overalls || 3. Crew neck sweater || 4. Twill pants with suspenders
Baby photo outfit inspo
I love to put babies in one pieces for photos. Whether that’s a romper, sweaterset, onesie dress, anything that will snap down is great! The reason for that is so you don’t have to worry about constantly pulling down their top or dress during the session! Babies are so wiggly and you’re holding them the whole time, it’s much harder for their clothes to stay in place and having them in a one piece outfit definitely helps with this!
Check out my favorites below! You’ll be able to find a baby specific board under either my girl wardrobe board or my boy wardrobe board.
1. Ruffle romper || 2. Shawl collar one piece || 3. Body suit and pants || 4. Knit overalls
