I met Jana in a facebook group for photographers. We later realized that she’d grown up and lived in Fresno until a year before I moved back home to Fresno. When she said she was headed here to visit her daughter, I asked if we could meet up and swap head shots. It was so much fun to meet a photographer friend! I only wish she lived here now! At the end of our time, I pulled out a prism I borrowed from my brother and played with that in the golden light. Prisms are a great way to add visual interest and to push the viewers focus to what you want them to focus on.
