I got to do some beach mini sessions out at Monterey this summer. I had so much fun chasing kids around (away from the cliff top!!!) and enjoying the cool weather after so much Central Valley heat. I always consider myself a beach girl more than a mountain girl and try to escape to the beach a few times each summer. The first family I met at these beachy cliffs was the R family. They hadn’t had family pictures taken since their grandson had joined their group and he wanted to know why there weren’t any pictures with him around! I got to take their first set of family pictures with my new friend included and we had so much fun running around and being silly.

I just love that last pic with Dad staring me down and grandson snuggling up as tight as can be. Give me all the “see right through your soul” eye contact please! By the end of the session, this little dude was showing me all the toys he’d brought in his backpack and being as silly as can be. I had so much fun R Family!
